The “Almighty Johnsons” is a TV series in which a young man named Axl Johnson discovers that he and his four brothers are reincarnated Norse gods. But they’ve lost their full powers and Axl, who is the reincarnation of the war god Odin, can only restore their full powers if he is able to find the reincarnation of Odin’s wife, with the unlikely name of Frigg. But three Norse goddesses are also trying to find Frigg before the brothers Johnsons do because by doing so they would prevent the restoration of the gods’ powers.

A good part of the 12th episode of this second series entitled “You call this the real world?” was shot at The Ambers B&B (Brigadoon in the film) on 2 and 3 February 2012 with: Emmett Skilton as Axl, Keisha Castle-Hughes as
Gaia, Peter Elliott as Tom and Tania Anderson as Beth. For two days the cast and the supporting staff of South Pacific Pictures Productions had the “run of the house”. It was shown on -wide television on 16th of May 2012

As hosts, we found it a wonderful and interesting experience. Everyone involved in the filming was kind and considerate and it was a pleasure to provide them with the venue. We found South Pacific Pictures to be a great film company with lots of talent and experience among their staff, all of whom are dedicated to their work.

It also made us realise of what a special place our B&B is!
